We are looking for a local but virtual Tax Senior Manager for seasonal and part-time tax work. Part-time tax planning work will require 20 hrs/wk throughout the summer months, will require 30 hrs/wk between November through January for tax planning, and 40 hours hrs/wk of business and individual tax return preparation/review/planning from January through April. The position would be remote most days except the team commits to 1 mutual day in the office a month. The tax manager role will entail tax planning and compliance for business entities (Corporations, Partnerships, S-Corps, LLCs) and individuals. The tax manager will work with multiple clients, building trust and rapport mainly through email, phone calls, and virtual meetings.

- You live in or around the Milwaukee, WI area and are willing and able to attend meetings in person at the downtown office occasionally
- Review Federal and State tax returns for Partnerships, S Corporations, LLC’s, C Corporations, and complex Individuals
- Prepare annual and/or quarterly tax plans and estimates
- Mentor, train, and support Junior team members who participate in tax preparations.
- 7+ years of public or industry tax experience
- The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Experience with UltraTax is a plus
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Willing to hop on a call with a client when needed
- A team player willing and open to work in a collaborative virtual environment and enjoys pitching in thoughts and ideas regularly
